Integrative Manual Therapy

Integrative Manual Therapy (IMT) achieves health and healing by taking into account the diverse systems of the human body and addressing dysfunction at the anatomical level, physiological level, and psychological level. Incorporation of nutrition to improve one’s health is also included in IMT.

This therapy is a unique compilation of manual diagnostic and manual techniques that assess and diagnosis pain, dysfunction, disease and disability. Using these manual techniques, we can allow the body to self-correct under the right circumstances.

Trauma Resolution

Unprocessed trauma adversely affects the somatic system which includes the musculo-skeletal and sensory nervous systems. A traumatized nervous system maintains a file of the trauma induced at the time of injury.  Integration of the traumatized nervous system with your environment can assist in processing disruption and moving forward in a functional manner.  Integrating the emotional and the physical, mind and body, to work together can sometimes be the key to unlocking a patient's potential to heal.

dryneedling

Dry Needling

Dry Needling is a form of therapy used within the framework of musculoskeletal diagnoses. Fine needles are inserted into myofascial trigger points (painful 'knots' in muscles), tendons, ligaments, or near nerves in order to stimulate a healing response in painful musculoskeletal conditions. Dry needling is a modern, science-based intervention for the treatment of pain and dysfunction in musculoskeletal conditions such as neck pain, shoulder impingement, tennis elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome, headaches, knee pain, shin splints, plantar fasciitis, or low-back pain.
